  • For Google Ads campaigns, send a request to the Moodle Partners team (partners@moodle.com) and include:

  • your organisation’s name

  • email address used for service

  • 10 digit Google Ads customer ID.

If you have any questions, send an email to partners@moodle.com.

Using the Moodle trademark as a Moodle Partner

As a Moodle Partner you should restrict your advertising campaigns to your country. Check the Settings tab in your Google Ads campaign to ensure no other countries are selected.

Things you should know about Google Ads:

  • Trademark infringement allegations are investigated by Google Ads in "sponsored links" only, not in general searches

  • Trademarks are territorial, therefore Google Ads investigates infringement allegations differently, depending on where you're located. For example in the US, UK, and Canada (among other countries) Google Ads will investigate allegations of trademark infringement in text advertisements only; in Australia & New Zealand they will investigate allegations in text or keywords.

  • Companies may be unknowingly using the Moodle trademark in Google Ads. In these instances, please send a request to start an investigation to Moodle HQ (partners@moodle.com).

  • Authorisation is unconditional; use of the word can not be restricted to a specific country or restricted for a period of time.

  • Requests for authorisation to use the Moodle trademark must come from Moodle HQ (owner of the trademark).
